The Synth Labs 060 is a gasket-mounted 60% keyboard, inspired by rack-mount electronics and sports cars.

The 060 comes pre-flashed with VIA compatible firmware

Firmware Flashing Guide

Step 1. Download the correct firmware

NOTE: The 060 comes pre-flashed with VIA-compatible firmware. You should not have to flash any firmware yourself, unless you are doing so for troubleshooting or experimental purposes.

1. Find the Resources section located earlier in this guide

2. Download the firmware from QMK Configurator

Step 2. Download QMK Toolbox

1. Go to the qmk_toolbox releases page

2. Find the latest stable version (the most recent one not labelled Beta)

3. Download the appropriate installer for your operating system

- Windows users should download "qmk_toolbox.exe"

- Mac users should download "QMK.Toolbox.app.zip"

Step 3. Put your 060 into bootloader mode

1. Unplug your 060

2. Hold down the Top-Left-most key (the Escape key)

3. Plug your 060 into your computer, to enter bootloader mode

Alternatively:

1. Map a key to QK_BOOT in VIA

2. Press this key

Step 4. Flash your 060

1. Open QMK Toolbox

2. Select "MCU (AVR only)" and choose ATmega32U4

3. Drag-and-drop the firmware file you downloaded in to the "Local file" field in QMK Toolbox

4. Press Clear EEPROM

5. Press Flash

Congratulations! You have finished flashing your 060!
